Some of the boards also have the opportunity to be shape on a parabolic blank. These boards contain two stringers, one on each rail. These stringers concentrate the volume on the rails and allow for flex in the middle of the deck. This allows for excess speed that can be throw off the top. Bogging becomes extremely invisible as you don’t see it anymore. These will only be shaped at the request of the surfer.
